Application and technology of super soft welding strip
Solar cells will have various welding defects in the welding process, but the most common welding defects should be debris, black spots and other phenomena. Whether manual welding or machine welding, fragments are always unavoidable in the welding process, so the rate of welding fragments has become an important indicator to assess the workshop. There are many factors that affect the welding fragments. This paper mainly considers the force between the welding strip and the battery, and studies the influence of the soft welding strip on the welding fragments.

To realize the power generation function of solar modules, it is necessary to connect single cells to form a whole. The common connection method for crystalline silicon cells is welding. Inappropriate control of the welding process of the battery chip will cause certain defects. These defects may cause hot spots during use, sometimes seriously affect the life of the module or even burn the module.
The most easily occurring defects during welding are obvious cracks or invisible cracks that can only be seen with the help of tools. This defect is mainly caused by the mismatch of thermal stress of silicon material, silver paste and welding strip. As the welding process needs instant cooling, the temperature drops rapidly from 250 ℃ to room temperature. The sharp temperature change will produce a great stress between the welding strip and the battery sheet, which will cause the battery sheet to bow due to the effect of this stress after welding. This arch is likely to develop into cracks or fragments during laying, laminating and later use.
There are many ways to eliminate thermal stress, such as adjusting the process, changing the welding method, etc. However, adjusting the process requires a lot of experimental data, and the results are not reproducible. Changing the welding method requires eliminating some old equipment. However, there is no need to change the process parameters of ultra soft welding strip, and it is adaptable to different equipment. Therefore, the use of ultra soft welding strip has significant advantages compared with other methods.
